A nice little jaunt down memory lane. Only a few US originals worth having today, but that’s how it was back then. The sound was always more important than the record, and providing the format was small, black and round, nobody cared. Now what I’d really like to see would be a Wigan Casino time capsule...

The thing is hes not.  For all the talk of the scene being so mainstream now. 99.9% of people wouldn't know him and in a fairly strong soulies area like Leicester a very large proportion of the people are still not sure what northern is.
