Terrible news, there must be many like me who won't associate the name Triska with Skippy which is in itself a tribute to a wonderful kind lady, simply to be known and loved  as Skippy . Rarely in my life have I felt as I do this morning at the passing of someone who I knew only from short conversations we had usually when she was taking her photos.

   Our hearts are a little heavier this morning, condolences to Pete and family and her many close friends,

'Many Thanks for all of the kind & wonderful words. I explained to Robert & Kevin how loved and popular their mum was, now I think they know how much she was loved by you all, and she loved all of you too.

When it's safe there WILL be a memorial do/ event for Susan, her ashes will be present. As for the funeral, I reaffirm only closest family will be present, and the time/ location will not be revealed until after, as I know how much she meant to so many of you and I can NOT risk a sizeable turnout for safety reasons. Susan would not have wanted to risk a single Covid case occurring as a result of her.

I've sorted flowers for the hearse to read "Susan" "Mum" and "Soul Sister" other than that, please don't get/ send flowers instead I urge you to consider a donation to the Motor Neuron Disease Association.

Me and Carys first met "the gang" Susan and Pete,Steve and Gill Gaskell,Lizz,Deon,Paul and Carol etc at Golbourne Catholic Club run by Dean around 1999,we sat to the right of the stage at first and after going for about 3 months on the trot Sue came over to  and invited us to sit with them,the beginning of a very long friendship,meeting up at other venues like Lowton,Viaduct,Prestwich and so on,well almost everywhere for around ten years.

Pete and Sue,were at our wedding in Llanrwst, year 2000.

The last few years we have given the scene a miss for various reasons and the last regular venue being Tony Brookes' Burscough Legion and as usual Sue would be either dancing in her own "skippy" style or taking photos,she broke out the champers every New Year.

Susan,we are going to miss you,everbody will.................

Pete and the boys,your loss, we cannot imagine,your memories of a wonderful wife and mother will be precious.

Rest in Peace sweetheart we're gonna miss you so much.
