Just heard Monaco soul nights in Wigan is finishing with soul nights can anybody tell me if this is true thanks mark

Wtf . Is there a closing date or anything or is it just not reopening. So sad 😞 if there's no more. Not that I'm a regular anymore but I did go there quite often many years ago when Glenn Brierley was a resident DJ 

The Monaco is one of the last iconic venues   New year's eve 2019 /2020 was a absolutely fantastic night.

Had some great nights there back in the day. If my memory is right, stax of soul used to appear there as well, a great live band. Another great venue going.

loved djing at the monaco(four times)    bringing all the crew over from the harold club on the bus with my good mate jools

Steve I'm sure that you will still be able to call by and stand in the doorway reliving old memories ... 😆

Be a struggle to do the same at Winsford, Bretby & Willington seeing as they knocked the buildings down but I am sure they will leave the Monaco intact. x

The bongo bingo gobshites are not even on the same night as the soul but their going to fill the place with tables which i believe bob has offered to move and put back after the soul night but still no joy as yet alan.
