February 11, 200718 yr Think this was done by The Temptations first, great real deal Motown track Lenny
February 11, 200718 yr always remember hearing gladys knight at the casino a few times all good versions in my opinion
February 12, 200718 yr There are actually three versions of ANSSYBG by Gladys and the Pips on Motown, the third being a 'live' one, done with the uptempo arrangement. Think it was on a various artists live album originally, it's just been reissued as a bonus track on one of the recent series of UK Motown 2-On-1's... ..Temptations unbeatable on this song IMO, and BTW. One of the definitive "why on earth wasn't THAT released as a single" tracks from Motown... TONE Edited February 12, 200718 yr by TONY ROUNCE
February 12, 200718 yr The best version of Gladys's is an LP only track and is faster and a different take. I have the LP and without dragging it out it has a huge Pink Heart on the sleeve. The 45 is a lot slower. Dunc
