Although it took me ages to really appreciate them for what they are in mellow "sophistication" I now am addicted. Coming prior from the Jamaican music thing before my deeper involvement into American soul music I always knew they were the original artitstry behind such fabulous tracks as done by Alton Ellis with 'la la means i love you' or 'didn't I (blow your mind this time)' by the Cables. Loved these two fab reggae tribute covers.

It's only decades later that I gave them a chance while picking them Delphonics cheap 45 up and gave them finally a "real" proper trial home on my MONO phono system. Instead of the passive like radio playing 'oldies but goodies' pathetic trip. Now I really appreciate (maturity ?) to play them home alone or even with friends. Although I find them songs rather "intimate" really for public attendance 🥰 LOL. Bless you Mr. Hart. +

Very sad news absolutely love his voice.   Coming into soul the NS way I missed the obvious greatness with this group for many years but cannot get enough of them and his voice nowadays.  Absolutely superb so RIP William Hart and thanks for the music.  One of my faves:

Back in 68/69 the way to a skin head girls heart at our school was via a Delphonics record (or Eddie Holman Hey There Lonely girl! ) ............Somebody Loves You always makes me think of those days. Fantastic group and sound
