She was perpetually on the news and in the papers - opening this, visiting that - doing her God-sworn duty and serving her people tirelessly til the end. I’m neither profoundly monarchist nor profoundly anti monarchy. Her Majesty gave a life-time of devoted service - quite literally - and the world is a much sadder place with her demise. God save the Queen.

The Queen - Absolutely amazing woman, words just can’t seem to do her justice ❤️

I hope the King is as half as good -  “Now that’s a hard act to follow”

With the nation in mourning I am genuinely disappointed at the level of response, official or otherwise, on this site so well done for starting this one off.

R.I.P Elizabeth

God Save The King.

A huge thread on foxestalk my local teams forum with lots of young UN's commenting, quite surprised by the lack of comments from a somewhat older community on here. I'm not a staunch monarchist by any means but her service to our country is unquestionably massive.

Although not as overwhelming  it does feel to me a bit like losing a parent - someone who has always been there has gone.  I'm neither pro nor anti monarchy but she has done a hell of a job and all on our behalf.
