'Jim Stewart, founder of influential southern soul label Stax Records, has died aged 92. Stax confirmed the news on social media this morning, writing that Stewart “passed away peacefully earlier today, surrounded by his family”.'

Where would we be musically without him? RIP Jim Stewart.

What a guy spearheading along with Sam Philips at Sun a melting pot of music in Memphis, I wish I could have been there and witnessed it in Person , these are special and gifted people with fore sight and ambition and they should never be forgotten.
