I don't ever remember these existing in the 70-90's ? Am i mistaken?

But nowadays i see them in online films of events all the time: along with beer towels and Baggy trousers, non of which were ever really on the scene for very long and not all took to them either.

I just watched a snippet of the Blackpool Casino anniversary event and it was awash with this kind of "wear it on your sleeve (or back, front , side)" signalling. Personally, i find it embarrassing to see and wear my soul on the inside. Is it some clever person making a decent buck?

Interested in your thoughts on this?

I had my t-shirt delivered with the above design this weekend. Looks mint. If you see me out wearing it and want one let me know £15 a pop

I used to love the t-shirts Shifty used to make featuring the latest big records he'd acquired.

We used to pop down to Staples in Cambridge with the tunes and get them scanned and printed out on special clear film that you could just "iron-on" to whichever article of clothing you chose.

I have not got a big problem with a witty slogan on a t-shirt but when you add it to the trend for beer mats, baggies, flared skirts, braces and the demand for the same old over played oldies at most venues then that gets embarrassing in my opinion.

All the above were fine when you were 16 but don't look so good at 60 plus.

These are the reasons I don't attend many events any more.

About time Mike. Lot of uninteresting negative posts on this one.
About time it was laid in its box and forgotten about.
