I’ve just heard the sad news that Bob Morris died yesterday. Bob, from Stoke-on-Trent, was a legendary collector and supplier of sounds going all the way back to the early days of our scene. Bob hadn’t been out and about for a number of years, following a stroke, but back in the day, when he turned up at a venue with a box of records, you knew you’d find some great tunes that you’d never seen before.

I’ll post details of Bob’s funeral when I know

It was always a pleasure to see Bob, and you were right Nick he turned up some incredible records. I did many trades with Bob and purchased some rare tunes from him. Another one gone too soon. R.I.P Bob. Thank you
