Im amazed that anybody still wants to part with such high numbers for a 45,£16k jeeeeees.

Ditto!....and tbch...Tim is gobsmacked as well...the record isn't everyone's cup of tea....personally, it's my # 1...but there you have it....so, where dies this now currently rank in the highest sales brackett?, that is...overall for musical sales?

Other than the obvious frank wilson it has to be the most paid for? I recall the likes of jnr mccants,dellarks,mello souls and the london issue of d banks all getting close to 15k....but i suppose time and inflation has a part to play?

Yep, just thinking: eddie parker, mello souls 10k, Tamangoes not far off, walter & admirations 10k on this site t'other week...double edged sword in a way...folks selling up late in life / enough time to enjoy the money?....the tunes becoming antiques but maybe wishing this couldve happened 20 years ago even?

One thing is for certain...every record has it's worth no matter what, some value more than others but....like the phrase or not, it's an antiques market...

20k for don gardner is hell of a lot for that,i think last year a chap here on ss was struglling to sell his copy for around 7k?

Don Gardner went for I think 20 or 26k recently, private sale.

I've seen more Eddie Parkers than William Powell. It sold for £5.7 in 2023 and £5 over 10 years ago.

I know Junior Mcants has gone for 17k private sale, and Don Gardner 20k, bought by same chap my way. May have been sold on again? I wouldn't know.....Thank you....Rob

Ginger's copy. He actually won it on the same auction maybe 10 years ago now?. Made a tidy profitt on it👍
