JOE TORQUAY
HI, LAST RECORD I SENT WAS LESS THAN £2 ( SMALL PACKET ) ADD A BIT FOR A MAILER. SO £2.50 to £3.00 WON'T BE FAR OFF, JOE. Link to comment Social source share
John Siret
If you know the weight of the item you can work it out on Royal Mails website. Link to comment Social source share
Guest MARTIN SNOW
Just a tip here, for 45's it hardly matters as the weight is so little one would not need worry. But as an experiement, I sent a low value shipment of 7 x 12" (one packet) by SURFACE MAIL a few weeks ago to Philadelphia. It took a max of 5 days, so surface very often actually goes by air. Price difference is phenomenal though, surface was approx £6.50, however had I paid air (for what clearly did go by air) it would have been closer to £20 ! Having said that though, I sent two identical packages to Brazil last year at the same time, by SURFACE, one arrived about 6 weeks later, the other took over two months.
