February 17, 200520 yr Hi there, just came across a real player clip of a cover of Thee Midnighters version of "it'll never be over for me", on www.amazon.com, called "Los Lobos-the covers ep............................... Carl. link theres a recent version re-done by the midnighters lead singer (his names gone at moment) more of a 70s sort of groove to it and not bad, also a decent version of "open the door" in same sort of style on same cd worth checking out imo
February 17, 200520 yr Sounds good to me.. link Dunno Pete I used to really like Los Lobos when they were doing stuff like "Will the Wolf Survive" and all that. Sounds like they lost the Tex/Mex edge and have gone a bit mainstram US rock now - even if they are Thee midnighters fans. Godz Edited February 17, 200520 yr by Godzilla
