Well going by the event guide it seemed that it was going to be a busy weekend with a lot of events vivying for the soul fan.

My own plans were sabotaged by my trusty car, but below is what have heard so far.

If were out and about, as always feel free to pass on news, views etc

Bangor Soul At Social - Busiest one yet ? A nite of good time northern

Wilton Niter - Top notch see brief view earlier

Station Hotel dudley - Absoloute packer and a great time

Plinston - Awesome nite - read comments on site here

Winsford Niter - Under new management team, heard 350 plus in, and an atmospheric nite

Just a few views had in, had to miss Broughton so anyone pass on?

Other events news more than welcome Bury ? Derby? Preston? Greatstone Manchester?, Desboro?, Notts?, Pilsley ?, Horncastle?

Short & Sweet, Desboro was well busy, dance floor was virtually full all night, seemed to be an emphasis on 70's/ modern, not complaining though, blinkin' good night.

Horncastle January 15th was as usual cooking with a coach of 40+ coming

from Cleethorpes to celebrate Nick Borst's birthday, also a crowd in

from Mansfield area also having their own birthday party.

This made for a tremendous atmosphere, the music here is very much

across the board trying to please all, the quality of the dj's has a lot to

do with the reputation this venue is getting, they try to play all

requests and no ego trips.

A new bar has been installed in the main hall at our request so full

marks to the mangement for listening to us.

Next ones April 2nd and June 18th.
