December 4, 200717 yr i'll take that one off my watch list then.... Yeah, fancy some bugger bringing everyone's attention to a record wrongly listed as "soul R&B" and laughingly placed in the Soul/Northern Soul section. Bastards
December 4, 200717 yr Yeah, fancy some bugger bringing everyone's attention to a record wrongly listed as "soul R&B" and laughingly placed in the Soul/Northern Soul section. Bastards You'd be suprised at what does go through correctly listed with no/very few bids. Didn't expect to get it for nowt, but low enough to sell on would have been great, no channy wanny of that now.

December 5, 200717 yr WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS AND THE MAPLE LABEL "Birth Of A Playboy" was officially issued on three different labels in the following order: 1) Lee John 2) Maple 3) Canyon The LEE JOHN label 45 was released as by Crown Four, it utilises the exact same recording as on the Maple and Canyon releases but has got a more "thin" sound. It also has got a different uptempo straight northern soul flipside. Edited December 5, 200717 yr by Sebastian
December 5, 200717 yr i'll take that one off my watch list then.... At the funk forum, as rude a bunch of @#?$% as there are in this world, there's an unwritten rule where people don't discuss running ebay auctions that have not received bids and are not in the first couple of pages of highest priced auctions. Where's the upside? Some people do their home work and search for hours ever day on ebay to find bargains and then after they have done all the hard work it gets pulled up on a public forum with 100s, if not 1000s of folk all over the world looking at it, most of whom don't even contribute. It only needs one person to read about it who has not spotted it on ebay and it can cost a forum member alot of money. Doesn't really seem fair... Maybe one for discussion and a possible addition to forum rules? I'd ask to ban the discussion of running ebay auctions that, as a rule of thumb, are not in the first couple of pages of 'highest priced'. Maybe others would disagree?

Yes disagree - we'd have no fun taking the p*ss out of people asking £50 for their Pye Disco Demands.
