IMO these are as dodgy as feck....

Seen another two sider on ebay recently with the same labels - but unrelated companies tracks.....

it's a boot, home made jobbie.

Brenda Holloway a Tamla recording, Chris Clark VIP, not done at same session. One done JAn '66 other June '66 so wouldn't be on same disc.

my initial thought when i saw it was USA version of those UK white label test presses

AKA vinyl carvers with details scribbled on in biro!

Mind ,a tad more imaginative than the UK "boot brigade"!

Ive been dealing with the seller for years and is a genuine person- I asked if it was from the 1960s he said No it was late 70s or early 80s Dont know how he came to his conclusion but thats what he said so I ddint up my original bid

Acetates with that design label on (including 'Candle') were made by Ron Murphy in the 80's for various collectors.

he might be genuine but the acetates aren't

Good job I kept my Swiniging Tigers "Snake Walk" when I obtained said tune on one of tehse acetates...something tiold me already its not the real deal...you live and learn. Agree though that the seller is among the best in Michigan.

I have "Candle" acetate on the same label design same handwriting?? came within a collection

I'm selling, unfortunately the owner paid damn good money for it.

Just double-checked it, "candle" acetate is exactly the same handwriting.. as Chris Clark.

Don't waste your time and cash on any of these boots, just get the UK original that came out a few years back on Tamla Motown!
