Rob Wigley
Had a quick look around and can't see this posted anywhere so thought we'd give it a shout. BRILLIANT VENUE, at the new football ground bang in the centre of Blackpool. Tickets only £5 in advance from the numbers on the flyer or £6 on the Door if not sold out in advance. A lot of talk of the Mecca recently on here and original Mecca DJ pete Haige will be spinning the Motown and Philly sounds Plus Billy the Kids Motown Mecca top 10 (sounds interesting) and just to add to that 70s feel they are doing chicken and Scampi in a basket ! GREAT VENUE watch for more in the coming months here. Rob & Karen Link to comment
Rob Wigley
Rod Allsworth has tickets for this one, he's coming on here later to give details of where he'll be at the weekend You can pay on-the-door ,but its more expensive, looks like being a Blackpool packer once again leading on to regular events at the venue. which may include Live acts later in the year R & K Link to comment
Rod Allsworth
Cheers for this Rob. As you say the venue is brilliant. The DJ line up is the best that we can get. Not a specific northern night-its planned as a soul night celebrating the great Motown label plus great Philly stuff and some real classic Northern-and as a soul get together with the intention of everyone having a great night. Its a night to hear things like Little Darlin-Marvin Gaye House for sale-Milie Jackson The Right Track-Billy Butler The best mix that the jocks can deliver!!! We have kept the pricing as low as possible with the intention of enticing as many through the door as we can. Tickets are available from me after 6pm-01253-700889 or during the day the BFC ticket office-0871-6221953(option1)-in advance they are £5 or £6 on the night. Link to comment

Hey Rod, hope your playing Captain Pugwash off original vinyl or you could be walking the plank matey! "Glad all over" is a much better tune, pity we haven't heard it much at Bloomers this season. Rob Wigley
looks like this is set to be a cracking night at Blackpool, the room is also ideal for |Live Acts to perform, Rod put Kim Weston in there about 3 years back and the location is oerfect for the North West. Blackpool FC are actually promoting the event and looking to the Soul crowd for regular events, maybe 4-5 times a year. So if you live in the Blackpool area or locally in the North west get along and give it some support. Rob & Karen Link to comment
