I did once unknowingly..

few years ago I bought a copy of Hit & Run Rose Batiste for more than a boot should ever cost..

bought 4 records that day and I was djing that night so straight in my box without doing home work...

I know the differnce now ... but not that day..

it was the most expensive one as well..

Sold all my boots on ebay so I could buy originals.Still got a couple kicking around if anyone wants them.

Original vinyl only down here at Bournemouth Uni and anywhere else that'll have me.

i've heard of DJ's getting carvers done of their originals and playing them - defending what they do and saying it is different/acceptable because they have the original somewhere

I used to play "reconsider" off one of those 70's white label things (the ones with the "test pressing" stamp and written dates etc on) at These Old Shoes now and again. Always went down well.

Also played it when we did a party for the Motown people at Universal down the River Bar - most had never heard it.

I'm sure there must be a studio acetate of it somewhere that never gets played out, just looked at and stroked.

So shoot me
