  2. yeah..mainly because Wayne Gibsons was harder to find..I also played 2120 south michigan ave as a cover up from their EP..covered as G Davis & R Tyler..

  8. yeah..agree..its okay..listenable..i've heard much worse..and you know how it is..some will buy a 45 for its rarity..others to have a 45 few others will have..bit of one upmanship if you like..

  14. same story here..i paid for a 45 that i never rcvd..despite assurances that he ''resent it''..hes got bad feedback..in my opinion a scammer..buyer beware..and good luck trying to trace him..his ebay account now deleted..

  16. yes its her..and similar story i think to Tobi Lark/legend..she knew the song..and think she knew it had been released..('66?)..but had prob been recorded earlier and sat on the shelf..
  17. many thanks..i met her in a similar bar..in East LA about 15 years ago..we chatted about 'what good am i ' etc..heres the weird thing..she said she only did two recording sessions.. one for Modern & the other ?? both in the late 50's..she insisted never in the 60's..!! I always thought that 'What good' had an earlier R&B sound to it..she would'nt let me take a photo even when her manager asked her..but asked if i could get a hold of the musette 45 'to put on the juke box..'..
