  1. It's been £100 - £150 for the last 10+ years. It's never been easy. 3 killers on the LP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2p6yBSj87k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CE6p2pbKn7Y.
  2. What about entertaining the people?
  3. Oh dear. It puts the thread on Butch at Yarmouth '91 into perspective really doesn't it?
  4. Bloody hell, what venue was that?!
  5. Not Northern as such, but the Stan Martin - Big Mouth Woman 45 on Shatta and Lp was Canadian only as was the Modern Bob Williams - It's Alright on Nad Lyn.
  6. What a cool label design.

    Leroy Hutson at his best.
  9. A few that I'm loving at home. Bob Andy - You Don't know (UK Green Door) Carlton & The Shoes - Never Give Your Heart Away (Studio 1) Slim Smith - Lonely Lover (Studio 1) Ernest Wilson - Undying Love (Coxone) and one I think of as modern but I realised I bought this 25 years ago now!!! Frankie Paul - Game of Loving (Life and Love)
  10. No it isn't - IMO
  11. Are they those Austrian boots that also did Hamilton Movement and Royal Vii?

Yep, great tune but it used to get a lot of plays in the Crossover rooms in the 90's and 2k's.
  13. You forget sometimes just how good some records are.....
  14. You wait ages..
  15. Are you sure you don't mean Look at me now?
  16. Beautiful record and nice to see a great conditioned issue. Very tough to find. Even the white demos are hard to find in good nick so if someone's got the money and really wants this item they will bid to get it. It might be a long time before they see another issue this nice. Mind you after this end price we might see a few more turning up.
  17. Very nice, Chicago style vocals and Texas horns.Mmmmm!!
  18. Nothing wrong with a bit of a drunken singalong Steve but you don't have to spend all that money to do it.

I wouldn't know to be honest Steve, I'm not a psych expert. I've got the Halleluiah Chorus 45 (superb 45 btw) but again I wouldn't have thought that was a psych tune. Certainly I would agree around the right era and slightly oddball and leftfield compared to most straight soul. May be I don't really know what psychedelic soul is.

Must admit, I was thinking the same thing. The Ordells track is one of my all time favourite tunes with an utterly jaw dropping string arrangement and amazing atmosphere, but psychedelic? Not sure about that Steve, may be the eerie twink of a noise on the fade out.
