  2. Would need to be a bit more to convince me to part with my copy .... shouldn't be too hard to get hold of as you see it fairly often .... but saying that .... i have been told that i'm still living in the 80s as far as record prices go ..... Fantastic tune though ... play it out a lot

  8. Some fantastic stuff on Motown ... no getting away from it. I just LOVE these tracks off the Dynamite LP .... the 3 last tracks on side 2 are just brill .... have a listen ...

  10. Got mine when it was still covered up as Denita James and the Wild Side .... has to be one of THE records from Stafford ... for me anyway ...... still have it too .... just great

  12. There's also Vikki Styles .... same backing .... different vocals. I know it doesn't really count as a different version ... but it proves what a fantastic bit of music this is ..... pure genius. I think this is one of the best records ever ... i love it!(Vikki that is)

  18. Been playing this loads lately Mark ..... paid £32.50 exactly off Ebay. Gaz Simon has been pushing this for years up in the North East ... they know a good record up there when they hear it! Great tune

I once asked a wise old soul called Pete Lawson what he thought made a soul record a GREAT soul record ... and he replied that a great soul record is one that sounds as good the LAST time you heard it ... as it did the FIRST time you heard it ..... no matter HOW MANY times you've heard it ..... Yes i'll admit to dancing to one wonderful moment when i first started on the scene only because i didn't have anything to compare it to because it was all new to me ... they were all great. After a while though you realise that they're not all great. You soon realise that it's records like Eddie Parker that are great ..... and that the likes of One Wonderful Moment are not ...
