Yeah but that's too much. I'd say £800 to a grand and worth every penny!

I don't mind them either but the stamp on this one should say 'pants' Not for me but I am surprised by the price. Has it always gone for that much?

Grumpy Soul Ii, 18 Feb 2012
Like I said, I would not expect anything other than originals to be played by any of the DJs who play at Grumpy. Hope to see you in May, I think you will enjoy it

8 hrs of tunes? Phil has a great memory but even he would struggle with that. Believe me the rest were every bit as good. You'll have to come to the next one, you can come with Mr Johnson

All I can say is I wouldn't expect anything but an original to be played. Thanks for typing all that up Phil. Not the entire list of what was played of course, but you get the drift. Top night indeed! Thanks to everyone who played, danced and talked shit

Twisted Wheel, For Sale?
I am not doubting anyone's passion and I am certainly not trying to belittle what is trying to be achieved here. Apologies if it seems like I am. I work in heritage and feel very strongly about things like this. That said, we all know what the media is like, especially where the soul scene is concerned. They certainly don't have an impressive track record of making us look good do they? If it was me, I would have concentrated on putting the serious message across, as in the clubs history and what it means to the many people who still go there. Not have them focus in on me and my tattoo. It has got the word out there though which can only be a good thing. I have signed the petition.

Warehouse Find I Wonder How Many
And that one is always me All good here thanks T.

Twisted Wheel, For Sale?
I mentioned it because I found it absolutely hilarious. What has a tattoo on your leg got to do with saving a club? I mentioned FW because it's pants

Warehouse Find I Wonder How Many
Tommy Dent is a bloody awful record. Starts off great and then nothing but a mess.

Twisted Wheel, For Sale?

The First Record That Got You Hooked ?
That's what makes it so special and all consuming. Great isn't it. I'm Gone is the Eddie Parker for me though. I still shake my head in disbelief at the sheer soulfulness of this record, in fact I'm doing it now as I type

The First Record That Got You Hooked ?
The first record I truly loved was Martha Reeves & Vandellas - Nowhere to Run. Still love it to this day and will always get up and dance to it if it is played out. Love it love it love it! Also Younghearts - Little Togetherness. Superb. Oh, and Eddie Parker of course.
