  1. Happy birthday Lorraine x
  2. Very sad news. I'm going to miss being sat at my desk only to get a call saying Hedley was downstairs at reception. Always fun to be greeted with his latest escapades and adventures and almost never walked back to my office without sponsoring him. He will be missed by many xxx
  3. This is such sad news, he will be missed by so many xx
  4. Sending lots of love x
  5. Such sad news xxx
  6. I used to think that too and they will of course eat them. The lovely lady at Hedgehog Cabin has opened my eyes to the world of hogs. She has loads of info on her website with regards feeding them etc. Not sure if links are permitted but a quick Google will bring her up. It's always a tricky balance regarding feeding due to other species pulling up at the buffet, and of course effort, but so worthwhile as they are in real danger. You're very lucky to have them x
  7. Slugs are not the best for hogs, they will eat them though if they are starving. Cat or dog food is great, definitely no mealworms or bird seed as they make them really sick. You are very lucky to have these endangered sweethearts in your garden. If you can put out fresh water and cat / dog food every night (dry kitten biscuits is best, or anything that lists meat first as that means the highest ingredient is protein) you will literally be a life saver.
  8. Jon was a huge part of my early years on the scene, where it all began for me. Such sad news x
  9. Very sad news x
  10. Jimmy for sure. Bobby James is a great vocal but his grunting and straining puts him second. Would still get me up clicking my heels though. BNF is quirky which I do like. Mystics does absolutely nothing for me, never has, complete pants x
  11. This is such sad news x
  12. So sad xxx
  13. So unbelievably sad. Rest in peace lovely Sue x
  14. What a shocker, so sad. My love to Pat and everyone xx
  15. I haven't read the book but did attend the lecture and in all seriousness it wasn't great. They may be respected in their field, I honestly couldn't say, but soul scene academics? They couldn't have been more off the mark. The only one who actually seemed to get it was Lucy Gibson, and Ady of course. The audience gave them an excruciatingly hard time and rightly so
  16. So very sad. Still recall racing round Marsh Farm mid-week trying to find a working phone box after receiving his lists, rereading while running just in case I missed something. Rest in peace John x
  17. Winston is one of the people I remember most from being a young pup at Jon Buck's RSG events. Rest in peace Winnie x
  18. Billy Webster - Good People - Silvertone
  19. Jeez, can't believe that was 2010! Was an interesting lecture, we were a tough crowd lol I have the PowerPoint presentation for Lucy's lecture somewhere and her synopsis. Apart from Ady of course, she was the only one that got it.
  20. I was just thinking about Pete yesterday. This is so sad, rest in peace lovey xxx
  21. Jeez, had this 25 years ago or more, can't for the life of me remember who I sold it to. Of its time (Stafford) and can't say I miss it and definitely wouldn't buy it now which is the real tester for me, no regrets Edit: just remembered, I first heard on a tape from Duncan Morris (sure that was his last name). He was from London
  22. This is the saddest news. He was such a lovely, humble man who couldn't have been nicer to me everytime I saw him x
