Bought an album and still not received it after two weeks !!, I know he's been on hols , BUT Manchester to York even by our postal standards ain't that long !!!!

Apologies , But what is this thread about ? , After reading the first post I thought it was a HMP prisoner release !! Or someone returning to the scene , Please Clarify

I was sat in history at school on a monday morning as a 14 yr old the weekend this came out , my girlfriend at the time pulled the supplement out of her bag and gave it to me , stating " My dad said give this to you , you like motown " !! I had been entertained over the last couple of months by my mates older brothers , who were all regulars on the scene and had attended the Casino , mecca , morecambe and notts oddfellows from our little humdrum town of Falkirk in Scotland To see a piece of literature written about an underground scene I was getting deeper into at that time was fantastic and I devoured every bit of it as I sought refuge from the boring and mundane routine of life at that time . I framed that article and displayed it for over twenty five years , until a removal company wrecked it and the frame , Happy days indeed and many thanks for reminding a guy tonight about a great piece of history on the scene at the time and a very acrobatic ex girlfriend , just don't tell the wife !!!!

How many known acetates of the Lp version out there ? Current realistic price ?

Buy the Lp , it was an original compilation release at the time , albeit with with the Clarence Hill track included as a collusion between the Brent and Mainstream Labels , you ALSO get Brenton's version of " Across The Bridge " , amongst others , total class

What's the story with the unreleased Lp version , is it on acetates , ect ...

What's her album like , any decent stuff on there ??

Couple of years ago found one in my local charity shop for a quid !!! , god only knows where it came from , sold later that same evening for £75.00 , result !!

If you ain't bothered about the " original " vinyl only debate , it was issued on this by a french dj with Clausel 12 " on other side , about £15.00

I have never seen a " wants " list attract so much attention !!!! The guy from previous knowledge has sold some high quality items in the past on here with no problems at all and clearly has the cash to obtain his list , Yes , a couple of his prices have been at the lower end of the market value , but as previously stated , we're all in a recession and if you paid a tenner for it Stafford and nobody liked it then , and nowadays it has escalated in value , with job loss , bills , etc ... You're gonna be tempted to sell !!!
