Thrift Store Digging
The only record I know of that was suposed to have turned up in a real thrift store in recent years (about 3 or 4 years ago) is some copies of Greater Experience, by a lad who was a PhD student into the beach scene records. I spoke to him at lenght about the find, and he claimed he was staying with his relatives during term time at xxxx (can't the town remember now) a town close to Danville. Found half a dozen of them at a few cents each and stuck one on ebay, and sold a few other to the next bidders. Mine doesn't look like the ones that Ian Clarke turned up years ago and so I was a bit suspicious at the time. However, I've not seen any up on ebay, etc since.

Pat Brady Stafford Spin ?
There was Marvin Stinton C/U around that time, but called something like 'you got the love I need' or 'you got the soul kind of love' (Neither the Undisputed Truth or Hesitation's tune) 60 second clip (Clip removed as it's not the right track)

Bought an issue of The Tymes - 'Here She Comes', but it plays 'Anymore'. Then got a demo of HSC on a white demo which is HSC. Anyone have an issue of HSC that does play as HSC? Much prefer 'Anymore' to HSC.- Bulters = Butlers?
Yes, you're right, on the laugh side; looks like - 5 I C O- A Review Of My First Live Wigan Casino Tape
- Bulters = Butlers?
Always thought this (blue) was a boot. Perhaps the blue copies are some sort of reissue because the run out has the A scratched out then a -R- then 'B', likewise the b is scratched out then a -R- then an 'A'. However, the labels, and numbers, are the same, i.e. Butlers Theme remaining the A side. Very odd.- 100 Club 21st Anniversary Single?

Try googling Hazel Martin- Tell Me About The Tempests
No, sorry, but from the sleeve notes it seems a lead singer was added around 1962, but I don't know if it's the same one on the album, and so wouldn't hazard a guess as to if it was a 'soul' record.- Gino Washington - Rat Race
Unreleased (acetate) track, played a lot by Dave Thorley at Stafford- Tell Me About The Tempests
Here's the sleeve notes from the album. " Would You Believe" on Smash was number 41 in September 1967, and since the Smash label ended in 1969, they must have made to album within the next 2 years. There's a single called "Count Down," recorded by 'The Tempests' on the Dominion Records from Salem, Virginia, 1962, might me one of their early outings? - A Nice Little Bonus
