  2. Got to admit Joe, not that I'm doubting what was said to your good wife (I daren't she knows what I look like and would hit me ) but I do find what he said a little strange. I've DJ'd at most of the Soul clubs in London, and nobody has ever shouted abuse at me, and I'm not aware of it happening to anyone else in the London area. I do know that John Weston had abuse shouted at him once, but he recognised my voice, so that doesn't count

  4. Another copy has just sold on Ebay for £56.00 https://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=4774162426 Ignore me. Different single by him
  5. Sold for $1249
  6. Yep Couldn't be arsed where a CD is from. I just used it as an example of how low down the list UK Demos come in my opinion.
  7. There's no need to sound so surprised that I'm correct
  8. Ady once asked me what was the record playing at the 100 Club, at the time I thought it was this version. (Turns out it wasn't this version, but that's another story). I thought it was quite funny because Cascade is a subsiduary company of Ace.
  9. I'm with Chalky on this one. US Demo, then US issue, then probably CD before UK demo. They just don't do anuthing for me, and in reality in the majority of cases are second issues (Because the first one was American) Strange from a collectors point of view though because they are better quality vinyl pressings, and in a lot of cases a damn sight rarer then their US counterparts.
  10. Possibly one of those odd ones that was allocated a number, but never actually released ? Simple answer is, I have no idea. Someone must know though

I think Jo is a teensy weensy little bit upset
  12. Carol & Gerri on MGM must be the most recent example
  13. THREE HUNDRED QUID Bloody hell
  14. If I remember correctly there were only 90 of the Kent DJ Promo album pressed. The number is KENDJ001 if that's any help in locating one. How much do they go for anyway ? Just played the Art Gentry track, it's not bad is it.
  15. We've been talking about me guesting for nearly three years, we'll have to actually do something about soon
  16. Oi ! That's my job. Always wanted to just be a customer in the Rovers Return.
  17. That's a pity, John is going to be there tomorrow night the one from Nottingham anyway
  18. Who the hell told you that rubbish
  19. There you go, artists included. I've got a couple of copies of this for sale at £10 each including postage. First two PM get the CDs.
  20. Sian, This is a bit train spotterish for you
  21. My advice would be put the record back on ebay, and grade it correctly, naming the guy who sold it to you in the first place, and explain why you are re-selling it. You might not get all your money back, but you'll get some, and you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that all the people who looked at the first auction, will also look at yours
