You have to hear the Catalinas version though, its side splitting! Ref Casinos track, now heard it. My thoughts are fair play to them for giving it a whirl. Not my cuppa T - but then it was never meant to be for old soulies.

First heard by me a couple of years ago in a London club as played by Ms Hurley. Picked it up & played it at Lightwater. Anybody know if SS sought permission from Motown before doing this? I only ask as Gordy was on record as saying that he would never allow any Motown stuff to be re-mixed. Appreciate of course Motown did re-mix there own records later.

Still play the 3 before 8 at our local oldies do. People love them, but personally I am sick to the back teeth of them.
