  1. It was a long time ago , just have a recollection of you asking me about a Vicki Baines "Are You Kidding" acetate and whether it'd come out.....
  2. What on the other side Gareth?
  3. And blank on the "Country Girl" side, only credits "Are You Kidding" from memory.....
  4. My demo copy came from Martin K. early to mid 90's still got it, £100 I think.
  5. Yes, I used to play it, can't remember what as just now about 10 years ago, still got it too
  6. I don't think it is that hard, in fact 45Heaven on here has one for around 90.
  7. When did this become a £100+ record? Sold mine for £8.00!
  8. From Soul talk originally from Soul Survivor...
  9. Fair version as is her take on "Is it over Baby". Tony Diamond is worth a punt, Sam & Iridescents, Canonball & Headhunters "Mean So Much", Patti Drew "Stop & Listen", Willie Hightowers' output especially "Because, I Love You", Ike Lovely is not bad too.
  10. Gotta agree with you Tone, I've just had a listen to it after a century and it is fab and gear
  11. Just checked, it's flipped, fancy that, never noticed after all this time
  12. £70 off Ian Clarke, Those were the days, in fact the deal was 140 for JD and Bobby Mac on Vended which I still have.
  13. Not as much as I could get now, it was over 10 years ago.
  14. Anywhere between 750-2000
  15. No, but I saw a Tramp stop and drink, down at the park the other day
  16. Pizza Pie Man was an old 100 groover, as was Jimmy Gilford on Thelma, Victor Knight Chinatown was an old c/u of mine played there prob the only one with a mandolin solo!
  17. That'd be The Changing Scene Jo Vee Jo, both sides c/u as Steve Mancha there is one on JM's at the moment

There also exists a UK Atlantic white label test pressing with handwritten credits, that my mate Brad has.
  19. Yes thanks Rod, and for the record I think this is the best sounding version, the Mala one being styrene is somewhat "brighter" in the top end, but lacks middle, the RPR one is vinyl (from memory, been a while)but may have been poorly mastered as I remember it being a bit muddy generally, not sure about the weather tomorrow though.

Sold my Tina Roberts for a shade over 2k earlier this year, still a very hard record
  21. Strangely enough the version included on "Northern Soul Connoisseurs" has this fault, I thought this was only on the cd, shows the level of care Phillips gave to their remastering in the 70's!
