I wonder if with these print on demand type services if it would be viable for them to do it that way or even if they started a pledge etc to raise the money needed as i would love them all together etc , maybe done in a few volumes etc I presume that they have all the information stored digitally so wouldnt like be starting from scratch etc

People have been playing out from cds for years , Brian rae etc it still doesnt make it right when you have paid to get in but if it is not advertised as an ovo night it is down to you to make your choice. Funny thing is that it is only Northern soul where I get funny about this , If I am in a modern room or a rock night in a pub near me i couldnt give a flying wotsit about the format. Probably down to the fact that when i started collecting you had to buy records or copied tapes , then cds came along , mp3 and downloads. I have spent quiet a bit on my records but now you can easily purchase a set of mp3 dvds from ebay containing all the kent goldmine etc that you will ever need. Am i just being grumpy that people are getting dj sets and collections for relatively peanuts ?

I have this on a white demo but can only find issues listed on popsike and ebay , how much does this go for as may be looking to move it on , I heard the demo was the easy one to get but looking at those that sold they are all issues Thanks in advance

There were probably about 4 or 5 repeats but there was a few extra 45s in my pack about 506 or so

The above list is just about 20% of what i got that i have so far listed , i was happy on the whole with the records i got as i like most styles of the music. remember it is a mixed genre pack , you wont get all northern floor fillers but a range of different styles. A good deal if you have the time and patience to sort through them and take out what you want , if the average record you like is worth about £4 on ebay and then there is £2 postage on there you only need about 90 sides you like from the 1000 to make it worth it

c/u means cover up where the record is given a different title and or artist to put people off finding a copy , sort of a red herring feeding false information

The few labels that i collect are in number order in a box The rest of the stuff is mixed up anywhere and the stuff I get occasionally in a soul pack is in a pile waiting to be sorted through when i can be bothered. I have been known to search for the record i want to listen to if i cant remember who its by on youtube , find it out of my collection to check i still have it then play the youtube file as its easier than going upstairs to where my record player is lol

Was the 2nd pressing of this ever confirmed ? I keep looking for the "reissue" that everyone said was done but no one ever seems to admit theirs is a pressing or seems to sell one at pressing prices

Is the yellow vinyl ep a bootleg ? , bought it in good faith but when i came to trade it on it was returned as a bootleg

Looking at the track listing I can't see many that most of the people on here won't have already on cd , It looks a great cd for the new to the scene / bandwagon jumping/ film watchers but nothing there to get me to part with ££
