  1. I've now had this reply so no need to go to drastic measures as suggested. "Thank you for your prompt reply. I thank you for your time and i am sorry about winning the item but, I would not care to go through with the transaction. I thank you again for giving me the chance to decline after I won the item." What a wanker.
  2. Yes Jo that is almost certainally The Contessas on backing. The Don Ray Sampson is at the top of my wants lists at the moment. One came up on here in Sales a couple of weeks ago at £25.00 and sold faster than a Vicky Entwhistle DVD on Ebay.
  3. Baby come back - don ray sampson - e 13301 refosoul Here you go Jo.
  4. I've sold an Lp on Ebay tonight for the pricely sum of £4.99 with shipping costs clearly stated as £2.50 UK , £4.00 Europe and £6.00 USA and worldwide. I use a good quality cardboard mailer and 2 sheets of corrugated cardboard to ship it airmail rate in.I have no negative (2613 positive) feedbacks The US buyer who has a 118 feedback e mailed me and complained (I will now quote exactly word for word any exchanges) "Item: ENO 1973 UK POLYDOR LP HERE COME THE WARM JETS (200065716796) This message was sent after the listing closed. cymbline81 is the winner. ------------------------------------------------------- "This also means that I am paying more in shipping that the actual price of the item." So I politely replied "Hello That is the actual cost of the shipping as I use specially made mailers to keep the records safe in transit. The shipping costs were on the item page but if you do not want to go through with the transaction I will understand fully and will re list it. Many thanks Craig" To which he replied "I'm sorry that I did not notice your outragous shipping cost. Twelve dollars us shipping is absolutly crazy and I will be willing to bet when it arrives to my door it will have cost you less than half for the shipping. I understand that it is my fault because it was clearly listed but the cost is still unreasonable." Any suggestions what I should do next?
  5. "Craig, Randy Cozens sold this to me in c.1980 for the princely sum of...£3. I've been playing 'Keep on Keeping on' on E since then. Lovely tune" Hi Jo Got this along with a boat load of other obscure soul 45's for $30.00 wrongly listed on Ebay US in the Classical music section for some strange reason last year. Took a gamble off the photo and bingo. Another wonderful release on this label is Baby come back by Don Ray Sampson.

  9. I'm not the greatest fan of Joe Simon but had to buy this the other day because it is so catchy and infectous. Love the bubbling sax that suddenly cuts in. Nice and cheap as well.
