I know Paul Dallison and I've met Jim Walters , both will be playing OVO in th e70's, x/over room , Paul was a guest on Chris Andertons Dab-of-Soul radio show a fortnight ago . As for the others , well just like a lot of the band-wagon jumpers , they will play anything just to make a name for themselves . It happens all over the East Midlands . We have even got All-nighters playing club classics under the banner of rare soul . But hey-oh , I have gave up on the Northern scene . It's worse now than it was when I packed up in 74 .Thank god for the more progressive soul front .

Heard the news early this morning , it has shook me to my roots . I hope theres a pint of Thornbridge waiting at the Gates Joe , rest in peace . Tony

Good luck Joey , it can be a really rewarding pass time if you get it right . Don't worry if you make the odd mistake , we've all done it , even the best collectors . My advice to you is enjoy it and DON'T let it take over your life or your finances , you're young and have plenty of time to learn . p.s , Sales list being post next week only joking.

I always thought this would happen Barney , the whole scene is a mess . It's fragmented , it has gone commercial beyond belief . ''Northern Soul '' is the new buzz word on the streets . The problem is majority of them don't understand it .So now you see twats dancing in the street in the middle of the day , you talk to people and they claim to have been into NS for an eternity . But worst of all IMHO is that you can get in your motor and drive a couple of miles down the road and you will see advertising boards outside every club and pub advertising ''Motown and Northern Soul Night ,with DJ Bollockbrain spinning the sounds'' . so whether it happen or not believe it is the way it's going ........or am I being to cynical ?

Yes , quite a lot . Sometimes he will just post it or put it in my garage . Sometimes he leaves it with a neighbour . He knows what he is delivering , never lost one yet . I have stopped him putting them in the garage now though .
