How Big Was The Northern Soul Scene In The 70S ?
My first reaction was that it was big in mansfield in 74 when i started, every youth club played northern (alongside more mainstream stuff I should add) and there was a big contingent of older lads (& lasses) that went to the torch and early wigan. However at school there were 90 lads in my year and I can only think of two of us who were into it properly although most of the others would have known what it was and been exposed to it. Later when starting work and attending tech etc, again a small number of people in the groups I was in. By the time I started nighters in 78 the Mansfield crowd had diminished considerably, there were probably around 15-20 regular attendees. So to answer the original question - its difficult to quantify, it seemed big in my little world at the time but maybe not in the grand scheme of things…..

New Dance Class: Think Mild Zumba
Nostalgia? You couldn't be wider of the mark if you tried, I'll reiterate what I said I'm my first post - you either get it or you don't. I'm outta here, going round and round in circles is pointless

New Dance Class: Think Mild Zumba
I'm the last person to stop anyone from enjoying themselves. Anyone can go out and do whatever they want for me, life too short & all that. However if you had to witness something that you have been a part of and loved for over 40 years being bastardised, commercialised and generally changed beyond recognition from what it was and should be about, just to accommodate newcomers, you might feel differently. You either get it or you don't. If you don't - don't try to change it, find your own thing to do

Cyber Catacombs, Wolverhampton
Theres no doubt that will be technically possible at some point in the future, whether it'll happen before we all go up to the great all nighter in the sky is another story... Fingers crossed, I'd love to be on a packed Casino dance floor again, with a crowd who know how to clap properly…..

Dunno but I've definitely done this before without any problems so somethings changed. Anyway I got round it but its an unnecessary hassle I reckon

Buying Multiples On Ebay Bin And Combining Postage
BTW I got round the problem by buying one item and paying for it, then the seller sending me a paypal request for payment separately to cover other items and an adjustment of postage

Buying Multiples On Ebay Bin And Combining Postage
Had problems with this a few times, if you're buying more than one item from a seller on buy it now, you used to be able to commit to buy and then request a total to allow for combined postage. Now the steps just take you to buy/pay which is the same click and you end up paying the postage x how many records you're ordering. Any thoughts?
