These were around about mid 70's, fairly sure they are boots (was of this opinion at the time), would be odd for a legal issue not to have the writers name credited.

Hope so, loved it there, atmosphere people music and dance floor all top notch.

Sad news to read of Dave's passing, remember him from the early 90's when we would see him out and about with his camera, a lovely guy with a great sense of humour. RIP

Sad to hear of the passing of Neil Allen or to everyone out there Nogger. A good friend and Stoke legend, sorry to say he has finally lost his long fight with illness and has gone to the turntables in the sky. I shall never forget him, particularly his advice before my first ever spot at Keele ... "if you f*** it up I shall boot you all round that dance floor". He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Rest peacefully dear friend Martyn & Carol x

There is another version released in 1969 by Geoffrey Meteliko (not sure which is the original and which is the cover). More at home in a jazz lounge, but interesting take all the same.

A bit shocked to learn of the passing of Craig Westwood in the early hours of last Monday morning. A good friend and fellow dancer over the years, will remember him for his loud stamp on the dance floor to announce his arrival. Used as a personal term of reference in Gloucestershire, my son-in-laws dad uses it a lot, in so much my three year old grandson refers to him as Grandad Mush.

It hold special memories for me Mick ... I particularly enjoyed dancing to it at Prestatyn when Lou sang it live.

Was sad to hear that Tim Fletcher passed away last Wednesday 29th March. Tim was a good friend, a gentle soul with a vast knowledge of the music, he would catch a train from Coventry to Wolves, I would collect him from the station, bring him home and feed him, then we would all venture off to a nighter. Carol and Tim where especially close, she would do anything to help him out, of which he was always grateful. 15 years ago today Tim kindly helped out at our wedding, taking snapshots with one of my cameras. We will miss you dear friend Love Martyn & Carol x
