  1. yeah but the repos play better and dont jump ,i got an email back from universal saying its not there fault there trying to blame the 3 rd party which clearly its not ITS THEM they dont want to admit they fcuk'd up big time ,it looks like it was a rush job and no care what so ever was put into it .
  2. trading standards told me i can only get a refund (cash) so we need to get a petion to universal to get this fixed pronto .
  3. finally opened mine all present but jumps on the temptations track but im not impressed by the standard of the vinyl looks like low grade bootlegs ,so tomorrow im going to my local trading standards office see how i stand and how universal stand on this mess like everyone on here i want a replacement not a refund and if enough of us complain to universal they might do a proper press of this box set like the rest of you i cant believe they got this so wrong .

  5. was there a few years ago took a taxi as it's the best option and get them to pick you back up unlike hitsville & chess its a set up like a museum just take your time going round as you''ll miss things for me it's best of the 3 the gift shop has good stuff as well ,also there things on at night check the stax website ,also go to sun records its great and the guide i had knew her stuff i try to catch her out asking about goldwax and hi she knew all about them and was comforable talking about them as she was about sun and take lots of photos enjoy.

  9. spent 7 days in chicago with him on the soul trip a gem of a man a pleasure to know him ,when we were there he got me to take photo's of him and lou pride and marvin smith then he said to me you get yours too just a pity i didn't get one of me and him wasn't thinkin straight too tired from the night before ,lovely lovely man pure class..

    as you say it was a pleasure to meet him in memphis smoke and the responce when scrb was played with everyone singing it to him was a once in a lifetime moment and it was pleasing to see so many people with tears in there eye's showing there respect to mel ,thanks for the music sir and thanks to kev roberts for putting altogether

  17. i've asked this question before no answers ,the rumour i heard back in the day was that when gordy aquired ric-tic the guys @ ric tic dumped them all over detroit, landfill ,maybe proping up freeways ,who knows maybe a pile of sh--.
