Oooh lovely lovely tune ... don't think I've heard that one before ... what I'd call a "nice" record

I don't go as far back as Wigan etc only Droylsden, Bradford, St Ives, Hyde etc in the 80s/90s and nothing will compare to those nighters for me. The whole thing ... music, atmsophere, friendships and even enjoyed the journey - which in those days was a good part of the night . The last ten years IMO haven't been able to touch those nights I don't get out much nowadays but I don't mind so much cos I don't think I'm missing anything now (obviously someone will tell me I'm wrong!) but if I had to miss any Droylsdens I was absolutely gutted !!

Simon T - Deb Troops is originally from Boston living in Delph (Saddleworth) now but Anita Holland is Oldham born and bred. Kirsty - Deb's is still planning on going abroad somewhere (think still Spain) but her business is booming at the moment so she's stuck here still (not married though). Keep saying I'll get up to the Wilton but Fridays are a nightmare for babysitters Keeeith went a bit strange and lost it a bit (don't we all ) so he had a break. Last saw him about 3 years ago at Ritz Manchester.

Oh Linda, remember this well, it was hilarious!!! Not seen Gaz for years now. I believe Dave Molloy is still around somewhere, last I heard he was going out with Julie Halliwell from Wigan. Don't know anyone on here who knows Julie though to get a number or contact address, sorry!

I don't get to many carboots nowadays as have to take the little lad to footie practice now ... but my mate Billy Jones in Cardiff gets some cracking bargains when he goes to them down there ... always rings me up about 11am saying "hey, guess what I just got down the bootie"

Fave old place - Droylsden Nighters in Manchester - nothing has even compared yet!! Current - difficult as I don't tend to get out much but would probably say ... Greatstone. Fave DJ(s) - StevieZ and the Greatstone lads (never cease to amaze and thrill me)

Totally agree with you there Johnny my boy... love Harry Deal by the way - any track - but my fave one of his is "I Still Love You" ..... oooooh what a tuuuune
