  1. Very sad news. I bought quite a few rare British things off him back in the eighties when he was replacing his UK issues with demo's
  2. Sad news. I saw him quite a few times back in the 60s. He was always very entertaining.
  3. I picked up a copy of Ray Merrill, Tears of joy in a charity shop for a pound a few years ago.
  4. Bought that when it came out. I think I've still got it.

  17. I was after a decent copy of Belita Woods for ages. Every copy I came across was trashed. In the end I ended up settling for a trashed one.
  18. On a cruise I tuned into the on board entertainment on the tv. There were all sorts of genres on offer, I eventually got round to the Rock &Roll section and was amazed to find Charles Sheffield- Voodoo Working.

    Hold On , The O’jays. During the instrumental brass section one of horn players ,I think it’s the trumpet player,hits a bad note.

    Just started watching last nights episode of Cold Feet and couldn’t believe my ears , the opening tune was P. P. Arnold, Everything’ Gonna be Alright
  24. About five years ago I was looking through a pile of stuff in a charity shop in Devizes and found some Ray Merrell stuff ,usual c/w and mor stuff. The last one I looked at was Tears of Joy for a pound . Result.😀😁
