"i,i,i.i,i,i,i, Really Love You..."
Thanks, definitely not the first 3 but does sound like RCA/Pied Piper production - so I'll be looking for the Cavaliers now. Thanks for quick response. Alan

"i,i,i.i,i,i,i, Really Love You..."
Can anyone help me identify the track that goes something like: "I said, I,I,I.I,I,I,I, I really love you, I,I,I,I,I,I,I really care.." 60s male vocal stomper, slightly jerky rhythm. As the song develops, singer crams even more "I"s in. Looks bad written down, but great record. thanks Alan

Just Like The Weather - Info Please
I've seen Constellation copies with different label designs. One with "Constellation" in a semi-circle and with stars across the label; the other with "Constellation" in a straight line on a plain label, no stars. Can anyone tell me if these are these both originals from different plants, or is one a boot/reissue? If both originals, is one preferable (eg vinyl rather than styrene)? thanks Alan

How about: Hesitations- Wait a Minute (Kapp) Diane Cunningham - Certain kind of lover (Fontana) Alan- Going Big.....what Will Be Next?
I always thought The Spinners - Can't Shake the Feeling would take off sometime. From the same era as I Just Want to Fall in Love, but more Northern and much better in my opinion. Alan- Are Dealers The Way ?
Why don't you name the record here and ask for advice on the going rate. That will help you set a target price, and would help people advise on how to get best price depending its rarity/ demand for it. Alan- The Wonders Of Love
Can anyone tell me if the records by The Soul Gents and The Invincibles are the same recording, or if different which is better. thanks Alan- Boogaloo No. 3
One of my first buys too, never get tired of it. Heard it played out recently, but nobody danced to it. Alan- Live Tapes
I'd like a copy too, would be happy to pay for them. I think most people would be happy to pay. Alan- Truly Forgotten Oldies
Flip side "Don't Play With Fire" is great Alan- Help With Title Please
It's The Volcanoes - Take me Back on Harthon, about £30/ £40 I think Alan- Little Willie John
Was this ever issued in the UK? ( I vaguely recollect seeing a sold-centre copy on Ebay a couple of years ago). thanks Alan- Keep The Faith Vol 3
I remember this coming out at the time. The 3 volumes were issued by President Records in early 70s featuring the types of things they had put out as 45s on their President and JayBoy labels. Alan- Brown Bombers
It's on a Goldmine CD, DETROIT UNDER COVER - GSCD 117 Alan- Sons And Daughters
My daughters, 18 and 16, sing along to the Constellations, Brice Coefield and Quiiter Never Wins so I'm still hoping. Alan- Dave Godin - B&S
Would it not make a great tribute if someone were to publish all Dave's column in book format, and donate part of proceeds to his good causes. Alan- A few wants
Richard Domar had Baby Jean in his last big catalogue, issued months ago but might still be worth checking out. (He also had Johnny Wells.) From memory both were around £50. Alan- info please
It came out on Ruby and UA, both originals. Quite a cheap record, I think you should be able to pick up a copy for around £25/£30. Alan- Mighty Pope - If You Want A Love Affair
Great record, slightly faster version of Jesse James. Clip available on www.SoulClub.org. Manship lists it at £100, but goes for less on eBay, about $150 if I remember right. Alan- Help i'm going Barcelona
Half way up Las Ramblas there is a street on the left hand side that has a cluster of second hand record shops close together. I had time for just a quick look last year and didn't find anything of interest. One shop had sign up saying it sold R&B but the owner was pulling down the shutters for lunch when I approached and wouldn't reopen so I never found out what we had - maybe more blues/rock then soul but you never know! - Going Big.....what Will Be Next?
