  2. Got mine from Vinyl Vault in Cheltenham for 25p way back when they first opened. They would let me take home boxes of 45's as long as I categorised anything I didnt want for them!!!
  3. I think it might help if they mark it as a gift instead of merchandise as well.
  4. I saw Richard Street's Temptations (that is how they were billed) a couple of years back for $20C and they were great, and about the right price. 35 quid is too much.
  5. I used to have this on a UK CBS demo and was laughed at continually when I said it was pretty good!!!
  6. Most days I get out and about as there are 5 Charity Shops in Burlington, On where I work, today I got Bobby Byrd - I Need Help - Polydor and Solid Gold From Muscle Shoals - Fame, both albums - cost 50c each. The Muscle Shoals thing looks like Instrumental versions of popular tunes? Anybody else want to share their lunch time finds?
  7. Waiting for: Joyce Taylor - Wally Marv Johnson - I Miss You - Gordy promo
  8. Dont mean to hijack the thread but just popped into a local store in Burlington, Ontario called Looney Tunes and came out with Sons Of Robin Stone - Got To Get You Back - Atco for $1.

  10. Sorry, they also had a Sue Northern Soul and a Wigan one and they both looked pretty good musically.
  11. I bought a Ric Tic CD from Toronto record show last year. Says Made In Thailand on it. Basically it is one side of each of the first 28 Ric Tic 45's and to be honest quality is pretty good. $15 Canadian.
  12. Yes but Russ, you have been in the States for too long where every other person has them and you can spend hours at traffic lights trying to work out what they mean.
  13. I got mine from Brooklyn Born off ebay.

  15. Actually, can I add Demetriss Tapp - What Kind Of Girl to this request as well?
  16. Can anyone help with the current price for Theresa Lindsey - Its Love - Correctone issue? Thanks
  17. I can concur with the guy who said West Church Street is a bit dodgy. I didnt even stop the car when I went to find this place. Just got back from Hitsville and all the record shop pages were ripped out of the Yellow Pages in my room!! and it was the same last year in a different room! I stopped at a Dance shop in Cocoa Beach on Monday and the guy said he coulndt think of anywhere in the area that had 45's and could only suggest the weekend Flea's. Went to Rock and Roll Heaven years ago and managed to get a couple of the Motown Juke Box EP's but seem to remember a lot of Goldmine CD's in there as well.
  18. Adey Pountain's sets at Yate, had lots of them on tape. I say HAD, thanks Dad who decided to tidy my stuff after I left home!!
  19. I was in Dublin this year and found a lot of Irish TMG's but unfotunately not in god condition. I did see a Tony Martin but it really wasnt worth buying. The only one I did buy was Isleys - I Guess Ill Always Love You and also a handful of UK reggae things for a couple of Euro each . If anyone else is there the stall was a market stall in a covered market place linking a couple of main streets in the city centre and there was another store in there with a box of Northern but mainly re-issues. Tha Abbey Tavern 45 also came out on Arc in Canada with a Pic Sleeve.
  20. Male Groups, Volumes, Falcons, Hesitations, Ascots, Dells, O'Jays, Artistics...tempo is not important to me as I like to lose myself in this type of stuff, preference to 60's I guess. Same as Mr Bicknell although prefer mid to uptempo.
  21. Can some one post a soundfile of the unreleased Inferno B side? Dont think I have ever heard this
  22. Like most responses I do the same, Motown promos, Golden World, Revilot, Loma, Mirwood etc plus also Male groups things like Hesitations, Parliaments, Precisions and artist things, Deon Jackson Being in Canada I have also accrued a decent run of early Blue and Yellow Tamla label stuff, some of which may be for sale/trade at Hitsville this year.
  23. Suerly this deserves a re-press? I lost mine years ago and ask Rod about this about the same time he re-produced 1 - 4 of Voices. If I recall there was no pricing in it, just lots of great label listings and photos
  24. Anyone know any stores in the vicinity? There for a wedding in Sept and will have a bit of time Sat and Sun.
