love this and dont hear it- Are The Mods Responsible For The Northern/rare Soul Scene ?
Most certainly YES if you look around today at most soul do's the older generation were mods and still are. The MOD scene of the sixties were based on clothes, music and scooters and most of there music was soul, motown or reggae- Jimmy Ruffin Rip

B side is excellent better than the A side in my opinion- To Dance Or Not To Dance?
Don't worry what people think just get on that dance floor and let the music take you over, i'm 57 and i love to dance (not very good though)but i dont care what people think or say i just love the music. Most Northern fans will not care how you dance it is there to be enjoyed KTF- Stute

Nothing we can say will elevate this 45's enviable reputation - it already proudly perches itself at the very summit of Northern Soul collecting. untouched by DJ hands. If perfection, provenance and top-drawer Northern Soul is important to you, whilst trying to own the top-flight "Trophies" this 45 offers it all. It's been a thrill for me to even hold it.. MR JOHN MANSHIPS WORDS- Stute Soul Club

Steve you are one hell of a nice guy, i always liked to listen to your early sets at the stute and would hate to see you go mate, we are all in a learning curb and some what you play are great, even though i love the early soul, it would be a shame to let some small minded people win and get you to finish, you have opened my eyes to some of the modern stuff mate please keep it up and hope to see you soon.
