awesome stories these, I just love to read...most uf us German Soulies from zero hour, well at least my good self anyway, were hunting down the odd record for a fiver and in reality never ever had a chance to look at these records, not even on a list. They were impossible to get hold of for us. Just trying to think back now and a pund was about six German DM if I remember correctly, so a ten pound 45 was about 60,00 DM. A good night out with your friends was 15 - 20,- DM a full fuel tank for your vespa was not even 10,- DM LOL...

as some mentioned they would like to see a price guide online: tim`s guide has been online for quite some time now and its easy to access via https://www.raresoulvinyl.co.uk I also understand that his intention was to update here and there with new prices Re JM latest edition: I bought it as I bought all the previous editions too. so far I must admit I havent found any benefit the latest edition has to offer in comparison to its forerunner. havent had time yet o compare prices in # 4 and # 5 so I cant comment on the aspect of price updates.

I wouldnt dare to experience with heat on vinyl. not saying it wont work, just wouldnt like to see myself causing even worse damage to the record. If you dont care to much for the records flipside my (tested and approved ;) method is to tape the flipside. If you do it accurate you wont hear any clicks and also stabilize the vinyl to prevent the crack form getting bigger.

as there are many buyers who for various reasons dont leave feedback in that case there should be an ebay rule that all buyers and sellers MUST leave feedback. I am somehow always a bit dissappointed when after selling a nice item, sending it well packed and out fast the buyer isnt interested in leaving feedback. you ask the buyer if theres a problem, no the answer everything in good order, still no feedback though...maybe its ONLY the German part in me though...always rying to collect medals LOL

Hiya Mick, brilliant and the right way to go me thinks. I`ll do the same with the upcoming Hip City on Nov 10th and already told Eula so. We already changed the title of the night to "Support Eula Cooper". I will donate a percentage form the night and in addition we will also put up a spearate box where punters can put into for Eula as much as they want. The feedback for that on facebook has been very good by our german punters and I am positive it will work out nicely. There must be about 50 or a 100 events all across europe the next coming weekends. If half of them could do teh same I am pretty sure a nice sum could be raised. Marc

it does exist. Two or three people in the UK have it. Wont say anymore as those who have it will have their reasons for not having shared it (so far).
