some Blue Rocks...has anyone got a scan of the Shirelles 4040 issue.of "sweet sweet lovin"......also a scan of the Dee Dee Warwick "another Saturday Night" title of "baby i'm yours" on 4032......in addition.how many red and blues were reissued on all blue.......?

couple from me...Barbara Brown...nice femme midtempo...sounds like the Manhattans on backing vocals.....Carnival Kings..instr to the Manhattans "all i need is your love".....

is that the one thats basically the same tune (but not lyrics) as the Impressions/Jimmy James..."little boy blue"..done in more uptempo style?

some additional info...Owes a lot to "Fever".....Dolores was associated with Johnny Otis Band/Revue...the orig release of this was on Ultrasonic (delta matrix 37808..so early 61.)..i guess the Elloma followed soon after...Loma is a street in LA........

ive always wondered what connection (if any) Loma had with this 45....

some more Herman Griffin.......the Great 45 is an organ instrumental of Willie Hatcher on Columbia....the HOB 45 is early Motown........cha cha cha!

i think "Carl" is Carl Stewart...he had a solo release on Copyright.....also the Carl Stewart on Mercury(i aint goin'back to that) sounds similar vocally...also theres Tony Washington with Carl Stewart and the Sonics on Venture(not the LA label i suspect).."someone always cryin"...which i havent heard..(soundfile anyone?)...Tony Washington also recorded for Jamo and Peacock...ive always thought the guitar style on "Lift Me" sounds like Gerald Sims...is there a Southern/ Chicago connection possibly....(not unheard of )
