  3. Was a proper dance studio, KGB dance school, Sprung dancefloor and did it Bounce.
  4. Know what you mean, this plus others are still on my phone and get swapped around when I feel the need, The intro on Otis Reddings lovin by the pound builds up nicely and my phone has the assending ringer facility sounds really good.
  5. Loving by the pound, Otis.
  6. Trust you, but funnily enough I was thinking along the same lines.
  7. I always have a good supply of brushes for cleaning etc, not only for records but amplifiers, computers a whole host of things, if dusting out an amp for example, nice clean dry brush in and out of the heatsinks, wiring looms, fans, and a vacuum running close by to suck up the crap you dust out.
  8. I use a 1 inch decorators brush, dipped into soapy water, soft bristles so it won't do any harm, rinse in clear water & dry with usual cleaning cloth.
  9. Is that the guy with one leg ?
  10. Spread the glue onto the disc with a childrens paintbrush or even a half inch decorators brush. That'll push it into the grooves.
  11. Rare Soul 45, that rare it plays at 33 rpm.
  12. Yeah, but whats an Origonal.
  13. Like you I rewired the inside of the speaker cabs from bell wire to 3mm solid copper wire, it does improve the sound. These are JBL 1000W drivers in my cabs, not bad for in the house. Yamaha natural sound amplifier and of course a 1210 with stanton 500AL at the front end.
  14. people used to put orig, which is better than og, what next to shorten it ? O
  15. So what is the impedance load now on the system ? not recommended for all to try. Ah well I might get some repairs in from this practice.
  16. Till the evil bas***d hackers get into the systems.
  17. Still love this, no longer have a copy now though.
  18. Amplifier now gone, mixer reduced to 120 GBP, same delivery as 1st post
  19. The one I got stung on as a youngster was the Yum Yums, even with videos showing the decks you'd not know the difference.
  20. Yes boots, re-issues have always been played, peoples knowledge has also improved, back in the day it was hard to tell on a lot of copies is this an original or not, how many people got ripped off and still do with copies. We still have members posting pics and matrix numbers, stamps and other info on a daily basis to distinguish if they have an original or boot, or they spot a sale on E-bay and need some info about the record. Even the experts have got it wrong at times, a lot of DJs will have played boots at times unaware they were doing so.
  21. So do some of the copies.
  22. The copies had very poor graphics as well, feathery edges around all lettering, labels were bubbly on most i saw, But as stated the stamping is the clue.
  23. This and Frankie Berverley, if that's what you wanted. https://youtu.be/sfd9-OEqfHw
  24. Blimey not heard this in years, remember GGIML getting played can't think where though,
