  5. Very prolific writer etc on the Detroit scene , he penned Dee Edwards " Why can't there be love " for instance .He was also a talented painter , one of his most famous pieces is the front cover of The Temptations " Psychedelic Shack " album .He will be sadly missed, RIP Hermon .....Eddie

This is totally shocking news , as I was only chatting to Glen at Cleethorpes weekender while we were waiting to get Spencer and Percy Wiggins autographs .He kindly offered to take photos for me with the Artists , and ironically we were both saying what a sad year it had been with the loss of Alan Pollard and Dave Pointon . Rest in peace Glen ......Eddie

I went to two nighters in Coventry , one at a leisure centre , swapped Carolyn Crawford " Forget about me " with Cliff Steele for Rhonda Davis on Duke .The other one at a different venue was memorable due to the car next to ours in the car park catching fire ..wondered if we would get home to be honest ...lol....what year were these, late 80's ? I remember this show , Neil played The Smith Brothers " Paybacks a drag " , plus Jerry Jackson " It's rough out there " and Patrice Holloway " Love and desire " , both of which went straight to the top of my wants list .Years later I bought both of them off Neil , so ended up with the actual copies I'd heard on the radio , years before ..I know Neil was after copies of these shows Dave , you may want to let him know you have them ?
