There was a demo for sale by Christan Scott for £900 the other day

Now this is interesting.....i have just been through all The Sheffield papers and there is so much on the Mojo Club......being named as drug central.....everyone who got nicked named The Mojo as the place for pills. No mention of that in the write up above. There was a happy piece in the papers about Stringfellows wedding though.

I have about 40 UK jazz lps single sided with test press white labels some either handwritten sleeve notes with a projected picture.A few dbl sided HMV 45' s inc a Jimmy Smith but as you say never seen any sixties Motown ones...got a few Atlantic seventies test presses.

I'm going through the Wolverhampton papers at the moment...loads of rock acts there inc Bowie and The Pretty Things.Same with Up The Junction in Crewe and The Empress Room.

Dodgy record dealer sold it to Rob Messer supposedly.....he got it to a record dealer in Vienna who pressed it up...respected .record dealers were selling it until someone slowed it down and low and behold it was Middleton all along ...pinky and perky.

I know The Levert Sisters version but not this.....I wonder if it is The Forum

It's a UK acetate ...Shapiro Bernstein...found it in a shop in Rochester about 25 years ago with some unreleased acetates ( other groups)!....I was thinking on the way home ..i bet it's The Dakotas ...couldn't believe it when Ben started singing
