I have always wondered about this track and remember the sound quality not being up to much when I had a copy way back. However, I also have this on "The Wigan Casino Story" CD and the recording is first rate - I thought it only existed on an acetate? If this correct then where did Goldmine get their soundfile from. I also remember the lookalike boot sounding like it was copied from the Grapevine copy? Anyone know if thsi is true ?? Best, Dave

I sold a record to a guy in Germany last year (via ebay) and he contacted me a week after sending to say that it hadn't arrived. After a bit of investigation it turned out that he had given me the wrong post code for his Berlin address. Anyway, the following week he recieved the record as the PC he supplied didn't exist, so the postal service just used the rest of the address, which did. As Jules said, there is no NX post code so the record has nowhere to go. The seller sounds pretty flakey and I would file a paypal dispute for non delivery.

That picture's the same as my copy Grant. I noticed that the UK issues state that it's stereo but not the stateside ones. The reason I'm asking is because my (VG++)US copy plays with a lot of distortion in stereo and perfectly in mono, so I'm assuming that it's a mono cut. Thanks for your reply mate, Dave
