  3. I'd say so, BobπŸ‘ and James Carmichael, west coast producer too.
  4. Sure there'll be space made for you..all welcomeπŸ˜‰πŸ‘
  5. WHY is there a persistancy/consistancy of sellers ( not all you understand ) to NOT upload pics of the items they are selling, OR soundfiles? Is it just too much hassle?, asking for a friend...( where have you heard that worn out chesnut before? )🀣
  6. Absolutely, Paul.....no one ever say ghere was a specific way to dance, how you express yourself is how you feel the music in your mind, be it a beat ballad or stomper...it's always been about doing your own thing, not trying to copy the next guy or girl....can you imagine the Kings Hall with a thousand formation dancers?....it might as well be a country & western night!🀣 again, folk misinterpreting the words ' Northern Soul ' as a specific dance, not a style....like the dance crazes of the 60's.
  7. Most recently heard this spun at Ashton Ukrainian by ' Stafford Mafia ' legend, GUY HENNIGAN...and over a cracking sound system, it was right on the mark...every chance of a spin for this, another completely forgotten/overlooked piece of rnb magic
  8. Another recently acquired disc that's starting to pic up plays of later and a corking rnb track, also recorded by Winfield Parker on RuJac

  16. Yet another case of a completely underplayed/forgotten? Detroit gem, this is a great mover!.
  17. Plenty of this genre of music to the fore as well, this tune definitely worth a spin!. This slab of funk laden dynamite will be hitting the turntables for sure!.
  18. Blue eyed garage/stomper, again with loads of legs and pace for the energetic...100mph A fair share of rnb guaranteed in both rooms too, including this cracker!.
  19. Here's a track largely forgotten and as a result basically underplayed...the fast version as well!
  20. This tune will be itching to get a spin!
  21. THE UPSTAIRS ROOM, now reallocated to this function, will open to attendees from 5PM onwards until 11ish or midnight dependant on if there still a lot of folk sticking around to see the day through SO...7 extra hours of music on top of 9 DOWNSTAIRS....HOW CAN YOU NOT FANCY BEING HERE TO CELEBRATE A SPECIAL OCCASION?πŸ˜‰πŸ‘πŸŽ΅πŸ’ƒπŸ•ΊπŸŽΆπŸ’₯
  22. Just an update: The original decision to go with just the downstairs room has been reversed in light of the obvious interest shown by many people...and it looks like a good many will be attendingfrom literally all 4 points on the compass, hence the necessity to make as much space as possible, available to accommodate an expected bumper crowd so...it music in 2 rooms!, twice as much...and still for exactly NOWT!πŸ˜²πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
  23. Any chance, somebody please of ads/pics/flyers from The Bayhorse in Tod 74/5, please?
  24. THE MAN, GINGER TAYLOR, will be with us on the day all being well. It goes without saying he's been hugely missed on the scene, i'm sure we all wish him well as he progresses in his recovery from a debilitating illness, we're all in his thoughts too. This function is a co-opt between himself and Tim and it's become a quarterly event...the last 2 have been extremely busy. The sound system downsrairs is effectively surroundsound ( cinema style!) with speakers strategically placed all round the room so everyone can hear the music!😊 Ray is aiming to play some tunes which, if he's up to it, will be brilliant for all concerned, we just ask that people PLEASE give him time and space...it will just be great to see him out. Ray will certainly appreciate everyone's support for this event...so lets all make it EXTRA SPECIAL for himπŸ˜‰πŸ‘
