Did not realise they were still around in the 70s any singles worth mentioning / listening to? The early 60s line up was Anthony Gourdine, Edward Dockerty, Christ Delk & Richard Bracey but you probably know that.

  11. Exactly if someone puts an item on at £5 and.we know it's worth £500 we all know what we would top bid we are looking for a bargain not paying top price if nobody bidded till the last minute we would not pay anywhere near £500 all we are doing is falsely inflate prices I agree to put a low 1st bid in in case no one else bids bargain time but if some numpty goes above you in quick time leave it do not bid again work out your max bid and put it in with 10 or less secs depending on your speed you will win more than you lose I promise so get on your mouse ready waggy
  12. I buy and sell on eBay all the time the knack to buying is you never never bid until the last 10 seconds. You need to watch the item carefully, I can never understand why people bid with each other while say there are 5 days left falsely pushing up the price far too early.
  13. Worrying very worrying had a look at said record thru link looked at his other items no more vinyl but look at those 40 retro vintage shirts and he has just sold disc for 3.500 dollars bloody worrying

Another useless bit of info is; The process of printing the labels directly onto the record goes back to the days of the original Bell label back in the early fifties. When Bell was set up it was designed to sell cheap cover versions of current hits with the records being sold through supermarkets, book shops etc. - they were priced at 35 cents which was half of the normal price of a single so they cut corners like saving a few cents by not using printed paper labels. Thats why over the years the print gets eroded by rubbing against other records which is why most releases on Bell from that time have unreadable or part unreadable areas on them.

Hi, posted over 500 packets in the last year and only one gone missing that to USA i find our 1st class postal service to be very good, next day delivery nearly everytime. it could be down to area sorting offices, I think its a bit harsh though claiming on ebay after only 10 days you have 45 days to claim, people only have to look at the sellers feedback to know hes genuine and its the postal service.

Oh those instrumental memories too many to mention Young Holts California Montage the closing record at the Highland room, hearing Saus play 'Steve Karmen' 'Breakaway' & 'Al Foster' 'Night of the Wolf' circa 1975 at the Bentley Drum Doncaster for the 1st time what brill intros. Mick Cook(rip) playing Earl Wright 'Thumb a Ride' at same venue boooooom. Those were the days when 25 o/o of all the records played were instrumentals even now I still like hearing new 'insts' yours Waggy
