Any stores / shoe shops in the Lincs / Cambs area which keep Ikon, Del junction, or Loake tassel loafers in stock ?

Sure I heard ' Stick together'getting a few spins at Notts Palais circa 1977, have actually got 'Ready steady go ' - must have bought at Rob's records in the 80's ??

Wanting to buy some new leather loafers with the tassels - anyone had any experience with these makes - MONK, IKON, DELICIOUS JUNCTION ? And if so, how did they fit, if you normally take a size 10, for instance, did your new pair of loafers fit snug, loose, or whatever ?

Got a super clean Original of Eddie Foster ' I NEVER KNEW ' on US IN records, lovely looking, shiny, perfect copy, looks like the best one in the world ! Need to sell a few things to raise some cash for a car change later in the year. Any decent offers over £375 ??

Do you mean the type who think that Barbara Carr ' Don't knock love' (Chess) is a new discovery ?!? The guy must have been frozen in an ice block for decades, like Capt. America (and the issue 2120 is the 2nd, orig on 1985).

Don't agree that Frank Wilson is not a good record - it is a bloody good record that has suffered from vast overplays and being greatly commercialised by many reissues and boots, etc

Always liked the Cobblestone ' Trick me, treat me' (covered as the Volcanoes), fast, obscure white garage, but a super sounding Northern stormer, and a true monster sound at lots of venues (and miles better than some of the uptempo obscure rubbish that is being spun at the moment). But what about ' Lets spend some time together ' LA Power and Light (terrible Inst cover of R. Stones), and ' When love grows cold ' (Ron Grainer Orch), another awful casino inst spin.

Doubt very much that the artist and/or label owner thinks that by repressing this they will make a fortune, more likely that whoever has got hold of some of these and is selling them on Ebay (without divulging the info regarding the re-issue) is hoping to rake in some quick cash from innocent unsuspecting soulsters !!
