The other way around is also true. And so it is the role of either party to ask/remind (not like begging or imposing) the other to leave a feedback and maybe how to proceed. It's not hard but it does take some searches, copy & paste manipulation.

That makes sense and ties this little loop of a story; I did read those stories here on SS about those early 80's unissued Motown tapes with RobbK, Rod the Mod (sorry that was too easy) and Dave W. But now just reading this I understand what it must have meant to Dave W. when he gave me a copy of that promo picture sleeve 45 some 15 years ago. I couldn't have guess that and this little story just add contextual value to this very copy I was given by Sir John Doe. Great ! Cheers for all of that.

A WDJ copy in clean collectable acceptable condition makes this one harder to track down than the rather common stock issue (even clean). Most copies are worned out. I'd suggest 30-35 for supper clean WDJ copy ?

Hats off to you Monsieur Le Paul, understatement IMHO ! I to use to love it at first, in a mix of northern tunes, it sounded good since the first 10 seconds or so are "working". Heard it again recently and fell out of love with it right away. Now it is rare and on a beautiful label none the less. So worthy for the collectors and maybe... some DJs.

If I may add with all genuine and true respect Pete (if you do prefer the added strings things), I always was in wonder about the better or what purpose they did those things in the end;… when it comes to cut the… like toppings, WHY ? If the food is good, toppings are a spoil ! But when the spice is incorporated as part of the recipe then there's no need for toppings ! It's not a string "for or against" thing.

Yah Pete, in the end I got so (over) worn out of to the strings things and I do agree that they are an "efficient" adding thing. Sometimes. But raw they are OG and fresh (good change) pay back as they were the first time around in fact. Great tunes in the first place that got killed by the over "exploitation" they had to strive can get a "new" fresh re-birth when discovering them a "second" time around "rawer" for-skined if I can say so… !

Without strings, OG miles better IMHO !
