  8. I know matey. my reply was made in the same way..Hey, ANY excuse to post the weird and wonderful...!! as I've said I don't have that much British at .. but I have picked some nice 7ts things up recently which look the biz..and as all have mentioned the quality of the vinyl and recording is second to none in almost all cases.. Aussie, specifically Festival records recordings are on the whole pretty bad, W&G in Melbourne did however do a great job but did not release any where near enough soul recordings... M
  9. all posted to Illustrate what Chris might be missing.. simply that Mr Mooney.. if ya want British only, thats all I shall sprout from now on. Mal.C.

  12. there is a chap from over there who has been selling 45's from Lebanon for some years, he told me all the majors released stuff there through one company, I won a few and my American Dollars were never seen again!! nor the records... Mal.C.
  13. I Like that as well, there is a touch of SAGE - I'm alive about it, not as good in the vocal I think, he'd sound allot better if he really went for it... great organ break at the end.. Mal.C

OK, my addy is sent, the tracks already selected, I'm very excited about this one cause I went down the shed and grabbed a hundred or so 12 inchers, which i had not touched in years, I mean a very very long time, anyhow they were all in order, every one a winner just there ready to record.. very excited and Matto Grosso : Star Suit deffo goes in as well.. 22. would the 2 seconds change for either vinyl or styrene, surly they both have different melting temps?? Mal.C.
  23. I'm glad you enjoyed it, its a shame, I had two copies on Mah's, it also came out on Spartan, one of Mike's other labels, they are hard to get in good condition though on that label, always seem to be knackered!! should not be too hard on Mah's though, pay no more than 20-30 quid. As I mentioned its a Ted Masey tape from 87, and was a BIG influence on me at the VIC, I've been buying those tracks up ever since..but lets face it there is some super hard and now very very expensive 45's on there.. Mal.C
  24. There are four pages of reply / discussion on this thread, so I'd simply like to come in on the original question which i feel may have already been answered somewhat, but........... NO F***** WAY Mal.C.
