Thanks lads, just had another look at the matrix and its ztsc, I am one happy bloke.

Anyone help me the identification of a recent aquisition please? I have purchased a demo of Edwin Starts Scotts on Swingers and need to know if it's original, both sides have the same title and on one side is a matrix scratched 27sc-107651 with a T1 opposite. The record itself is light in weight an looking at images of others the label seems correct. Cheers Steve.

I´ve got the Arsa copy and was told that's the song in its rarest issue format, is it true ? Love the label name.

I saw the "British" Temptations at the Nite Owl in Leicester during the mid 60s and still haven´t a clue who they were although they sounded fine.

I remember during the mid 60s the older lads were pre-ordering R&b,soul etc on the relevant labels, they knew what labels were producing this stuff and ordered every record that was due to be released on that label in advance. Obviously not all releases were in the category they preferred but spending money on a single was cheap as these boys were earning good money at that time, they must have had some fantastic music. Later towards 68/69 when I was earning decent wages I went to Selectadisc (I think) in Leicester and pre-ordered the reggae stuff I wanted and it was there within a week.

The photo came from a newspaper article where it said he bought up other large collections and that was a recent acquisition waiting to be catalogued by his team if I remember correctly.
